Our Shiloh turn out
was fantastic! Although only 9 dogs signed up, it was still a great turn
out because many of those folks came only to "experience" a non-ISSR
show - in other words, how SAFE would this venue be? Would the slivers
show up with their mixed breed mutts only to cause discord and havoc?
Would the IABCA board allow the same kind of travesties that we had to
endure with ARBA? That's why most of the REAL DEAL Shiloh owners have
refused to demean themselves by attending such events, thus leaving the
doors wide open for the slivers to continue hogging up the spot light
and thereby passing off
fraudulent information about our amazing dogs!
Over
the past decade most of the ISSR Shilohs only attended chapter events
such as the MAC/SESSA Mini Homecoming, the
NESSA/MAC specialties, the
MAC specialty near York, PA, the
SESSA/MAC event in Maggie Valley, etc.
Let's hope that the
IABCA board has enough integrity....unlike ARBA....and refuses to
accept all of the sliver mixes that keep trying to pass themselves off
as Shilohs, despite the fact that most should actually be called "Kings"
if anything!
| Just
compare the quality of our ISSR Shilohs pictured at our
yearly
Homecomings (both pet and show quality) against that the
slivers
have been promoting! |
As I explained to
Jeff this weekend, we are willing to do OUR part by entering dozens of
REAL - ISSR- Shilohs, as long as we are not going to be embarrassed by
having to enter the same ring with all kinds of mixes!
The Shiloh family that
came out from Michigan, Ohio, NY, NJ, PA and Canada for this event had a
great time and now we have a few more ISSR Shilohs on their way toward
an International Championship!
Let us work together to continue the
strong bond we have started to build! I promised IABCA that we WILL do
our part, by entering dozens of Shilohs (enough of both to split variety
at future shows) and he agreed to keep the slivers out - so now we just
have to wait and see what happens!
